Amidst all the running around, I have to admit, I have sorely neglected this blog BUT! I'm making a three quarter year resolution to make sure I give it more love....now I just have to make sure I stick to it.

So to update, our second collection has hit the Outdated store and website! Below are three of my current favourites:

"Eat Cake for Breakfast" in chevron and my favourite colour scheme because I never say no to dessert :)

"What If I Fall?" is the first hand lettered design I've worked on. Learning so much about hand lettering has been inspiring, to say the least. In Malaysia, we have a Manglish quote that means pretty much the same, "Never Try, Never Know". Who knows, this quote may pop up in one of our shops soon too :)

And finally, a Japanese quote as a daily reminder to never give up! There are many more new designs in the stores, but these 3 are my absolute favourites. Check them out for yourself at www.artsunami.etsy.com and let me know what you think!

The Little Red Market, 14th October 2012

It was another fun filled sold out day for a lot of us at the Little Red Market, last Sunday. The handmade event was chock full of activity from the time it started at 10am till the time it ended at 5pm. There were live performances, capoeira, ice cream potong...

We got there nice and early...and were setup in time to chat with some early shoppers who were bicycling around Publika for Wheelie Sunday. What do you think? Our Artsunami Prints look pretty comfy next to our decals, don't they?

Momage Art was out in full force with loads of new goodies...

Geboo and ZeroPumpkin made for the perfect neighbours of the day :)

Beautiful pottery ware just a few stalls down..people could even make their own pots and take them home after! How cute are they! Want to get in contact with them? Look for Clay Loo (016-3586966).

Creativity in every corner! I was all by myself that day, so i only managed a few quick snaps of a some really interesting stalls. By the end of the day, most of the stalls were looking pretty bare...a huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful people who stopped by to chat and support us and kudos to the organisers who did an amazing job! I had a wonderful time :)

On another note, we'll be bringing our pretty little decals to White Box, Publika for the Little Red Market this Sunday, the 14th of October from 10am to 5pm. This round, the organisers have whipped up activities to keep the kids occupied, talented young buskers to entertain, food and drink amongst the 50 odd artisans that will be exhibiting their works for the day. We would love to see you there. Find out more about what's in store for the day at http://www.facebook.com/LittleRedMarket.

Custom Installation at Kajang Hillpark Homes

We had the chance to go on a little road trip yesterday...for a custom installation in Kajang Hillpark homes. Lucky for us, it was a beautifully downcast day and it made for a really pleasant trip out of the city.

One of the things I've learnt through the years of installing decals, is that no two installations are ever alike and each installation has its challenges. While the design for this particular home was a simple one, the challenge was to get all the stems straight and evenly spaced out. I personally enjoyed this installation because it was closer to the ground than to the ceiling....lol..

Three hours later and all the decals were up! Just in time for lunch...and yes, we had yummy Kajang satay :)

Whee! Find us easily on Facebook!

Happy Thursday, everybody! I've been cracking my head for quite some time over this Facebook username thingy. What name to choose, if it's been taken and if the username I finally pick will last through all the expansion I have planned for BCD in the next few years. It's so important that it's unique and easily remembered since all of our updates get posted there first..So here goes..while it's a bit lengthy, it's not taken and it's original...lol...Follow us on facebook!
